Animal Therapy Assistant

Permanent Role

£23k - £26k per annum

Do have a passion for working with animals and children with SEN?

Do you want to work out in the fresh air whilst making a difference to the lives of both animals and children?

 

We're on the lookout for a compassionate Animal Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic animal therapy program. Our school caters to students of all ages, from primary to 19 years old, and they absolutely love our regular animal therapy sessions and spending time in our specially designed outdoor facilities.

 

Qualities of an Animal Therapy Assistant:

  • Boundless creativity, passion, and a big heart
  • Dedicated to animal and child welfare
  • Happy to be hands-on, involving daily care and cleaning of all our animals
  • Have a keen eye for detail is a must
  • Have an understanding of health and safety procedures, and ideally, be first aid trained (or willing to obtain certification within 6 months of starting).
  • Any child care or animal care qualifications are a bonus!
