The ARP Secondary Teacher Role:

As an ARP Teacher, you will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating lessons for students with Special Educational Needs. You will work collaboratively with the SENCO and parents to ensure that all students receive the necessary support to access and engage in the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

 

Requirements of an ARP Secondary Teacher:

  • Must have a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or QTS)
  • Experience working in a special education setting with children who have mental health needs and learning difficulties.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be patient and empathetic.
  • Must be resilient and reliable!
