We here at Parker Smith Inclusion are working with an inspiring all-through special school for children with SEMH and/or ASD in the London Borough of Enfield that are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a small class of Year 1, 2 and 3 children with ASD. They pride themselves on being inclusive and building strong relationships with the children. They embrace and understand that everyone is unique and their curriculum supports that. They have a deep understanding that the wellbeing of their students is of the upmost importance, therefore have a therapeutic and nurturing approach to their teaching. They offer art therapy and play therapy to students as a long term intervention to help support their development. The class sizes are small, no more than eight children per class. They have a wonderful team of professionals to support you in your journey in supporting students with ASD.
