Are you looking for a permanent opportunity as a ASD Teaching Assistant in a school where you can progress and train as an ABA Tutor?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Verbal Behaviour (VB) is a unique approach to supporting children with Autism focusing on each student’s individual educational programme to develop functional language and communication skills

This school is based in Central London with easy transport links. The school provides education to students from Reception to Key stage 4, with Autism and are dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism and their families. The school has been consistently graded as ‘Outstanding’ and has an exceptional leadership team.

About the role – ASD Teaching Assistant/Trainee ABA Tutor

  • Will be supporting children with autism on a 1:1 and small group basis
  •  Small class sizes - no more than 6 children
  •  You will help the Class Teacher to deliver 1:1 teaching and support
  •  You will develop your skills working with students with autism and receive specialist training surrounding the ABA/VB methodology
  • Long term to permanent opportunity

What is required - ASD Teaching Assistant/Trainee ABA Tutor

  • Passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Committed to personal development and learning specialist skills
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Ability to be a team player and build rapport quickly
  • Ideally a Graduate or someone with previous SEN experience either formal or informal
