Are you a teacher looking for a rewarding role supporting students with complex needs?
We are working with a fantastic SEND school in the Lambeth area to find someone to teach a class of year 7 students with Autism and complex needs. The students are working at EYFS, and you will lead the class alongside 4 SEND TAs, which will assist you in lessons as you help to develop the student’s social skills and motor skills and help them overcome barriers to learning.
The school is very supportive of staff, and both students and faculty are very happy at the school. They provide training in things such as PECs and their own form of Makaton, as some students may be non-verbal and some may understand but may not use Makaton back.
This is a very rewarding role working in an amazing school, so if you feel this role would be ideal for you, why not apply today?
