This school provides a bespoke curriculum and an approach to learning that supports and nurtures students with SEMH. Seeking a committed, consistent teacher who the students can rely on to get them through their GCSE's. You will be teaching in a small class setting with four students (mixed between Year 10 & 11) giving you the ability to build strong relationships and creating positive pathways for their futures.
Very strong GCSE English & Maths Teachers will be considered also.
With non restricted parking available and easy transport links available.
Key Responsibilities and Structure
• Teaching will involve working with very small groups of year 10 and 11 students.
• The timetable is split into morning and afternoon sessions.
• Morning Structure: Four students will attend. Two students will engage in an hour of Maths while the other two do an hour of English. The groups will then swap over.
• Afternoon Structure: A new group of children will attend, performing one hour of English and one hour of Maths.
Working Hours and Flexibility
We are seeking staff who may work a full day, or we can offer flexibility for those who require it.
• Classes would generally start around 10:00 in the morning.
• A possible flexible working day could run from 9:30 to 3:30.
• The flexible nature of the schedule is ideal for those who need to drop children at school.

We are supporting a wonderfully warm and holistic primary special school in East London who are looking for SEN LSA'S r to join their collaborative and dedicated team. This is a setting where communication is celebrated in all its forms! Most pupils are pre-verbal and supported through PECS, Makaton, Core Boards and a truly child-centred, sensory-informed curriculum.
