Local – South Croydon

£18,000-£22,000 Per Annum (depending on experience)

The School

I’m working alongside a SEMH Secondary School in South Croydon who are dedicated to meeting the academic and behavioural needs of their students. They have a mission is to create, adapt, and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the diverse individual needs of our student population and increase current and future independence

Behaviour Learning Assistant – the perfect candidate;

  • The perfect Behaviour Learning Assistantwould ideally have previous experience working alongside young students with SEMH or SEN but it isn’t essential.
  • The Behaviour Learning Assistant would have a passion for helping children with SEN
  • The behaviour learning assistant should have high expectations and a well justified belief that every child/ young person can learn and achieve
  • The perfect Behaviour Learning Assistant would be able to build relationships with young students, acting as their role model.

What would this role involve?

This Secondary school acknowledges each student's rights and ensures they have the right to learn and develop. The perfect Behaviour Learning Assistant would need to be able to work alongside a multidisciplinary team; They want the Behaviour Learning Assistant to be committed to helping each individual student’s improve and ensuring they have high-quality education.
