PAY: £90 - £100 per day

The Behaviour Mentor role

I am looking for passionate, positive individuals who are looking for the next challenge in their career. The Behaviour Mentor should have experience working within SEN, ideally SEMH. All children in this school have a SEMH diagnosis and therefore require a supportive Behaviour mentor in order to encourage them to achieve their best. Whilst academic achievement is important, it is also important for the young people in this school to be supported in regards to their social, emotional and mental health needs. Therefore, it is imperative that the Behaviour Mentor can form good, trusting relationships with the students

The role

I am looking for an encouraging, caring Behaviour Mentor looking to work in an SEMH school working with children. They carry the motto ‘come with a past, leave with a future. The school are fantastic at providing young men, with SEMH needs, the best possible support and really believe that those who have had to overcome challenges in their past, can leave with a bright future ahead of them. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning of activities, monitoring pupil’s progress, intervening when necessary, providing relevant feedback to the classroom teacher, and performing general duties to support both learners and teacher. Working as a Behaviour Mentor for an SEMH school can be extremely rewarding as progress can be seen every day!
