Role: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Hounslow
Salary: £90 - £100 PAYE per day
Type of School: ASD, SEMH and associated needs
I am working with a specialist school in the London borough of Hayes, catering for students with ASD, SEMH and associated conditions. The school are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to provide support to students, closely monitoring and managing their behaviour whilst providing academic assistance.
This role will include challenging behaviour therefore, the candidate must hold a strong presence and be able to control heated situations.
There are pupils within the school with dual-diagnosis, and experience with Special Educational Needs is preferred but not essential.
For this Behaviour Mentor role a good personality with a willingness to learn is the most important!
The Ideal Behaviour Mentor?
- The Behaviour Mentor must possess some behaviour/SEMH experience.
- Will be confident de-escalating situations and challenging behaviour, whilst following appropriate protocol.
- Excels in building strong relationships with students and staff.
- A Behaviour Mentor must be passionate about working with SEMH and related needs and making a positive impact on student’s lives.
