Construction Teacher  – Tower Hamlets - SEMH setting - Permanent - MPS

Do you have a passion for teaching students with Special Educational Needs, inclusive of SEMH and ASC?

Are you gifted in keeping disengaged students interested during study and enjoy making a real difference to the lives of young people?

An outstanding alternative provision based in Tower Hamlets are seeking a Construction Teacher ASAP to join their team

Essential Criteria for Construction Teacher

  • Previous experience of working with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies.
  • Teaching qualification: PTLLS, DTTLS, CTTLS, PGCE, QTS 
  • Experience delivering Construction or applicable Technology subject 
  • Qualification to the equivalent of degree level in a specialist subject or a related subject
  • You enjoy using a therapeutic approach to teaching.
  • Holistic and inclusive ethos 
  • Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background.
