Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
Based in Enfield
Hours: 8:30- 3:30 pm
Pay: £90 -£100 per day PAYE
Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people with special educational needs?
This role is based in a lovely mainstream primary school based in Enfield working within their early years. Within the role you will be working within the SEN team supporting 6 students with ASD as well as supporting the class with some general teaching assistant duties where needed.
Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant requirements
- Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
- Experience supporting children in early years
- Ideally previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with autism or other special educational needs
- A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.
- Ability to build rapport with children

- Your role as a Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant will be to support a child with special educational needs however the role will vary from day to day, you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
