Early Years Teaching Assistant 1:1

£75-£85 per day

Do you have a passion to work in Early Years and gain experience with Special Needs as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant?

Have you worked in a Nursery before?

Do you have a bright and bubbly personality with a can-do attitude?

If yes is the answer to the above questions we are looking for someone like you to work as a 1:1 Early Years Nursery Teaching Assistant. The role is to work closely with two children with additional needs in the nursery setting. This position would be suitable for anyone with an Early Years background that can be Speech and Language Therapy, Nursery Assistant or even a recent Graduate looking for experience in the setting.


 As a 1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant will require you to work closely with this child in the nursery setting. You will be providing hands on support with Emotional wellbeing, learning and development.


To be a 1:1 Nursery Teaching Assistant we are looking for:

  • Ability to work among a team of highly supported team in a mainstream school.
  • A creative and energetic role model with a positive outlook and ability to communicate ideas appropriately.
  • You should be a happy and proactive person with the ability to balance working with two children who has additional needs and take on general teaching assistant duties.
  • Experience in working with children with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS Framework that you can implement into the role is desirable.

The school is an Ofsted rated Outstanding primary school on the border of Camden. They have a very supportive system in place for all their team ensuring staff wellbeing is paramount. The school are looking for someone who’s personality stands out from the rest and can make bonds with the team, children, and parents. The school provides CPD training in Makaton, PEC’s, Colourful Semantics and Phonics etc.
