FOOD TECHNOLOGY TEACHER 

MATERNITY COVER-ONGOING POSITION 

£120-190 PER DAY PAYE ONLY

QTS not necessary nut must have experience working as a Food Technology Teacher 

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, I am working with a superb Secondary specialist school that support pupils who have experienced challenges being in mainstream education, they are looking for a Food Technology teacher to join their team. Mental health is the priority in this setting and this school, and they have a support network offering advice and help to guarantee the mental health and wellbeing of the pupils and their families is the main concern. They believe in early intervention by empowering parents to listen to their children and communicate about their thoughts and feelings. They also offer Mental Health Training for staff in schools which I believe you will agree is vital. 

 Would you like to be a part of this support as a Food Technology Teacher? 

• Small class sizes which help pupils build closer relationships and feel they can be fully supported and listened too 

• Students will have 1:1 mentoring sessions that also continue during the school holidays  

• The school has links with various colleges that can offer further education and apprenticeships once the students have finished their exams and want to progress further 

• Communication and teamwork Activities for students such as indoor rock climbing and music production which also promote well being  

• Teaching Food Technology three days a week then the exciting opportunity to teach a different subject such as Media the remainder of the week  

• QTS not necessary but must have experience working as a Food Technology Teacher
