Week 1- Mon - 13: 30-22:00 Tues - 06:30-14:30 Wed - 13:30-22:00 Thurs - 06:30-14:30 Fri - 06:30-12:30

Week 2- Mon - 13:30-22:00 Tues - 13:30-22:00 Wed - 06:30-14:30 Thurs - 13:30-22:00 Fri - 06:30 -12:30

 

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, We are working with a fantastic Residential School who are seeking a Head of House. They are looking for a nurturing individual to join their team of fantastic staff who work together to create a family feel. The students have a variety of severe learning difficulties, including some with autism and/or challenging behaviour and some with serious medical conditions.

Responsibilities of the Head of House-

  • Attend meetings about individual pupils and also regarding the running of the residential school 
  • Support students in a variety of on and off site activities
  • Provide excellent support to pupils with PMLD, SLD, ASD, behavioural, communication, social, sensory and/or physical difficulties in a therapeutic way
  •  Provide individualised learning 
  • Form positive relationships with pupils and parents and collaborate with other professionals 
  • Attend to pupils’ personal care
  • Participate in the planning and evaluation of learning activities with the Head of Care/Deputy Head of Care
  • Assist with the development and implementation of written reports, care plans and risk assessments on pupils as required.
  • Administer any prescribed medication under the direction of the School Nurse or other authorised residential staff.
  • Undertake driving duties as required.
