Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

  • ASAP Start, Full-Time, Term Time

  • PAYE Daily Rate £100 - £125 depending on experience

About Us

The Position

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to teach Sociology and Psychology

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday

  • Term-Time Only

  • Working hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Competitive Daily Rate via Pay As You Earn (PAYE): £100 - £120 depending on experience and qualification

Our school is not just a school; it's a place where they empower young minds. The school provides creative and therapeutic education for children aged 11 to 19 with high-functioning Autism and associated learning difficulties.

Many of the students also experience Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. As part of their teaching team, you'll have the opportunity to impact these exceptional individuals' lives profoundly.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

  • Develop and adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students

  • Inspire and motivate young minds to achieve their full potential

  • Collaborate with a passionate team of educators and specialists

Requirements - Qualifications:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant

  • Experience teaching Psychology and Sociology

  • Experience working with SEN students is an advantage, particularly with Autism/ASC, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
