I am seeking a qualified English teacher in Southwest London who has a passion for working with children with high complex SEMH needs. This is a 6-week contract with the potential to go permanent. Teachers from any background are encouraged to apply especially those looking to transition into a SEND setting.


Brief overview:

  • SEMH English Teacher 
  • £30,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Location: Southwest London
  • SEMH school for children with a diagnosis of SEMH and co-morbid needs
  • Ability to engage children with SEND is essential
  • 4 pm finish time


About the role:

As a SEMH English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons for smaller groups of children. You will coincide with the school multidisciplinary therapy team to assist the students in finding ways to encourage their learning. This opportunity will suit a teacher with a genuine passion and ability to reach out to pupils by ensuring you have a strong presence in the classroom.


Requirements for the role:

For this role, you will hold QTS or QTLS and possess relevant experience as a teacher in the UK. We are keen to hear from any teachers however those who have previously worked with highly vulnerable pupils, those at risk of exploitation, have gang-related issues, are highly disengaged and those who have attachment and anxiety disorders, we would love to hear from you too!
