We're on the lookout for a dedicated KS3 Nurture Teacher to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students.
About Our School:
The school we are working with is dedicated in creating a supportive environment for students facing challenges in mainstream education due to complex SEMH needs.
With small class sizes and a therapeutic, nurturing approach, we strive to ensure that every student feels valued and supported to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
- A therapeutic teaching approach, ideally with primary training
- The ability to teach core subjects and implement emotional regulation strategies
- Experience with positive behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
- A positive role model with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
- Experience working with SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication needs
- The ability to build strong relationships with vulnerable students, including disengaged teenagers
Requirements for the Role:
- Passionate about teaching and inspiring young people during a crucial stage of their development
- Nurturing, patient, empathetic, and holistic in their approach to education
- Qualified with QTS/QTLS or possess significant teaching experience
- While experience in SEMH specialist settings is beneficial, we also welcome individuals interested in transitioning into SEND settings
