Learning Support Assistant/SEND Teaching Assistant  –  South East London - London Borough of Croydon - September start  - Permanent

I am working with a South East London SEMH School who are looking for an engaging and passionate Learning Support Assistant/SEND Teaching Assistants. The children attending this school will have an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) for SEMH and sometimes Autism. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Mentors, even if your experience is informal/voluntary, we want to hear from you!

 

Learning Support Assistant/SEND Teaching Assistant requirements

  • Essential - Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
  • Essential - Resilience, patience, calm manner
  • Desirable - Experience of working with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties, or experience with SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, social communication
  • Essential - Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
  • Beneficial - Youth Mentor/Worker/SEND TA experience

Pay

  • This role is a permanent opportunity to start in September, salaries are £19500 - £26000 depending on experience
