Are you an experienced and passionate Maths Teacher looking for a new challenge?
Do you have experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, who are vulnerable and hard-to-reach students?
We are working with a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) based in Central London, they are seeking an inspiring Maths Teacher who is looking for a new challenge! The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to Key Stages 3 & 4 in their medical site, and to deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
Requirements for PRU Maths Teacher;
- Qualified Maths Teacher
- Understanding of support students with SEMH needs
- Deep understanding of the challenges of teaching in a PRU
- Proven experience and success in teaching Maths
- A commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of young people who have faced challenges in their education
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A creative approach to teaching and a willingness to explore new methods and techniques
Although experience teaching in PRU specialist setting is beneficial, I would also love to hear from individuals who are interested in taking their first steps into SEND settings.
