As a Mental Health Communication Support Worker, you'll be at the forefront of guiding and nurturing young minds. Your role will involve providing invaluable educational support to students who are deaf and dealing with a spectrum of complex mental health needs, including anxiety, PTSD, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, self-harming behaviours, and suicidal attempts.
Ideal Mental Health Communication Support Worker
- A Psychology Graduate or equivalent with a genuine passion for transforming lives.
- Minimum BSL Level 2 qualification - empowering effective communication with our hearing-impaired students.
- Must have good knowledge and experience supporting children with SEMH.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature to foster trust and build meaningful connections.
