I am actively searching for positive Mental Health Learning Support Assistants to support young people from vulnerable and challenging backgrounds. This all-boys school catering for students with social, emotional, and mental health problems. The school champions a trauma informed approach and cultivating student independence and community. Furthermore, this school favours communication over conflict and actively demonstrates to pupils that issues are best resolved by talking.
The ideal candidate could have…
- Experience working with vulnerable young people and social emotional and mental health problems.
- Passion for supporting students with challenging behaviour and implementing positive behaviour and boundaries.
- A nurturing, caring and empathetic approach to vulnerable young people.
- Practising and trauma-informed approach
- Brilliant communication skills
