About the school
I am working closely with a therapeutic and dynamic SEMH school dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and community-based environment for children and young people. The school's mission is to support students as they grow and become independent, preparing them for adulthood through tailored educational experiences.
The school is currently seeking a Motor Vehicle Teacher to join their dedicated team in September 2024. This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday during term time. Interviews will be held ASAP.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other teaching qualifications
- Happy to consider unqualified teachers with experience
- Full knowledge of the national curriculum
- Experience teaching children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs), Autism/ASC, and associated learning difficulties
- Ability to deliver training in Motor Mechanics
- Proficiency in assessing and evaluating skills, including BTEC vocational qualification levels 1 and 2, City and Guilds, and other relevant qualifications
