Parker Smith Inclusion are currently working with a vibrant, diverse and large school who are currently looking for a Nurture teacher to join their dedicated team. The role is to start immediately and continue in September.
The school:
The school sits within a multi-academy educational trust. Although their mission is to maximise examination success, it believes school is not just about academic study. It actively encourages all students to enjoy school and to get involved in as wide a range of activities as possible. Attendance at after school clubs is exceptionally high, with half of the students regularly staying behind to attend a club every night.
The ideal nurture teacher:
- As a nurture teacher, you will be required to assess learning and social and emotional needs and give help that is needed to remove the barriers to learning.
- Have experience of teaching children with SEMH and ASD, even thought this is a mainstream school there is a high percentage of SEND requirements and the school prides itself on the support provided to their student cohort
- Will have undertaken successful teacher training
- Will have a passion for SEN/Inclusive education and a positive and enthusiastic energy!
