Nurture Teaching Assistant

Location - Newham

£90 - £110 per day (PAYE)

Monday to Friday

8:30am to 4:00pm

What we are looking for in our Nurture Teaching Assistant:

  • The Nurture Teaching Assistant should be passionate and have a positive attitude towards helping children with SEN especially SEMH
  • As the Nurture Teaching Assistant do you have experience working within a PRU or SEMH setting
  • Ideally the Nurture Teaching Assistant will have experience within care or support role (desirable but not essential)

We are looking for a Nurture Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant to support young pupils with trauma who cannot access mainstream education. In this role the successful applicant will need to support students with SEMH and assist them in the classroom environment. As the Nurture Teaching Assistant you will be working with KS3 and KS4 who can sometimes have challenging behaviour however this role can be very rewarding as you guide and support them, building a connection to the many great students within the PRU school. The school has on-site parking and friendly staff and can be a great launching point for any career working with SEN Children, as well as for those already with experience and looking to further their career.
