Nurture Teaching Assistant

Location - Newham

Salary - £90 - £110 per day (PAYE)

Hours - 8:30am to 4:00pm

Do you have experience working with children with SEMH?

Do you have a passion to help young students with SEN?

Have you got experience working in a PRU or similar Setting?

Are you the ideal Nurture Teaching Assistant?

  • As the Nurturing teaching assistant you should have a nurturing and positive attitude towards helping students with SEN
  • As the Nurture Teaching assistant, you should be professional, resilient and have a great attitude to work in order to produce the best support for your pupils!
  • Do you have experience with SEN young people personal or professional?
  • The ideal Nurture Teaching Assistant should ideally have previous experience working with children in an SEN role, preferably with SEMH experience.
  • This role would also suit someone looking to progress in their career and gain further experience within SEN.

We are looking for a Nurture Teaching Assistant to support young pupils with trauma who cannot access mainstream education. In this role, the successful applicant will need to support students with SEMH and assist them in the classroom environment.

The KS3/KS4 students can sometimes have challenging behaviour however this role can be very rewarding as you guide and support them, building a connection to the many great students within the PRU school.

The school has on-site parking and friendly staff and can be a great launching point for any career working with SEN Children, as well as for those already with experience and looking to further their career.
