£22,000-£26000

Are you driven to help some of London’s most vulnerable young people and be a positive role model?

Have you worked with hard-to-reach learners before?

Do you have experience mentoring students?

If yes is the answer to the above questions we are looking for someone like you to work as an Outreach Learning Mentor to develop and support some of London’s children and young people’s learning opportunities in Alternative Provisions/PRUs/SEND schools

We are working with a SEMH school that offers external mentoring to local students based in Croydon and Southwark and are looking for a permanent Outreach Learning Mentor to join their friendly and supportive team

The Outreach Learning Mentor role

  • 4 days on outreach mentoring students in local APS/PRUs/SEND schools
  • 1-day paperwork based on the school site

The ideal individual for the Learning Mentor role

  • 2 years of experience working with vulnerable young people and children.
  • Ability to be organised and complete paperwork on a caseload of up to 20 students
  • A creative and energetic role model with a positive outlook and ability to communicate ideas appropriately.
  • Strong use of ICT
  • Minimum of Grade C English.
