HOURS: 8:30-4

The role
I am looking for enthusiastic, positive individuals looking to work as a Psychology Graduate TA in a SLD/PMLD school based in Kingston. All children in this school have a SEN diagnosis either severe or profound, and therefore require a supportive Psychology Graduate TA to encourage them to achieve their best. Whilst academic achievement is important, it is also important for the young people in this school to be supported in regard to their learning difficulties. Therefore, it is imperative that the Psychology Graduate TA can form good, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
The ideal Psychology Graduate TA candidate
The ideal candidate will have good previous experience working with children in an SEN role, preferably with an aspiration to pursue a career in SEND. You should be professional, resilient and have a great attitude to work in order to produce the best support for your pupils!
This role would also suit someone looking to progress in their career, there will be opportunities to move into HLTA roles, therapy assistant roles and opportunities for graduates to train as a teacher!
