PAY: £75 - £85 per day

The role

I am looking for a Teaching Assistant to take on a new role for a primary school located in Islington. This school has an excellent reputation and has an ‘outstanding’ OFSTED rating. They are fantastic at training those at the beginning of their career who are looking to get experience with SEN, particularly in speech and language development. This is a mainstream school, however, a high percentage of pupils have SEN. SEN Teaching Assistants will need to be proactive, engaged and ready to carry out day to day SEN teaching assistant tasks. The staff at the school are very supportive and you will be made very welcome.

 

The ideal candidate

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant would best suit a Psychology Graduate looking to gain experience working with children within a SEN educational environment. The successful Teaching  Assistant for this role must have a genuine passion for working with young, vulnerable people. You should be empathetic, kind and keen to learn! The SEN Teaching Assistant should be a positive role model and spread positivity! Having the ability to build a good rapport both with young people and the classroom teacher are essential as good relationships are key to succeed as a SEN Teaching Assistant
