Perhaps you’re seeking an opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with a student with an EHCP?
I am seeking a passionate and proactive and experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and ambitious team in Waltham Forest. As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a small mixed class of PMLD students and helping them to overcome barriers to learning, on a 1:1 basis.
This team pride themselves in their child-centred approach that is compassionate and promotes teamwork, inclusivity, and progression.
The ideal Reception Teaching Assistant
- Has experience supporting students with complex needs, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and managing challenging behaviour
- Positive Handling and Team Teach are beneficial
- The ideal Teaching Assistant must be resilient and adapt to difficult situations
- Can build and maintain strong relationships whilst enforcing boundaries
- Is committed to changing the lives of vulnerable young people, and will go above and beyond at all times
