Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Complex Needs We are looking for dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to take a leading role in supporting a small class of pupils with complex needs. You will provide structure and consistency throughout the school day, coordinate in-class support, and take the lead on behaviour management and wellbeing. Working alongside specialist subject teachers, you’ll be the key point of stability for pupils—helping to create a nurturing and therapeutic environment that supports learning, emotional development, and social progress. About the Pupils Our pupils have a range of complex neurodiverse needs, including Autism (ASC) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many have experienced previous educational challenges or trauma and require intensive, consistent support to achieve positive outcomes and rebuild trust in education.
