Science Teacher - Immediately or September 2024

  • School: Primary and Secondary Autism Specialist School
  • Location: Bromley, Kent
  • Salary: £160 - £220 per day PAYE (Dependent on experience)
  • Hours: 40 Hours per week, 8:30am - 16:30pm Term Time Only

The school is a specialist Primary and Secondary school, based in Bromley, Kent for children and young people aged from 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Science Teacher to join the team.

Job Summary:

  • Providing teaching support within the framework of the National Curriculum, GCSE’s and Functional Skills.
  • Committed to providing the students with the very best chance in education.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment with a committed and flexible approach.
  • Confident working with pupils with autism and behavioural difficulties.
  • Preparing, planning and assessing teaching sessions
  • Able to create a safe and stimulating environment for all students

Key Skills Required:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience as a science teacher delivery and planning lessons
  • Confident in supporting students with autism and challenging behaviour
  • Able to build meaningful and positive relationships with the students
