Are you a dedicated and qualified teacher looking to work with a wonderful and welcoming secondary school?

I am now working with a small and inclusive school in the London Borough of Greenwich, who are now looking to hire an SEN Teacher to join their wonderful team.

Requirements of an Secondary SEN English Teacher:

  • A dedicated and dynamic personality.
  • The ability to teach GCSE and KS3 is a requirement.
  • To work with SEN staff and support staff (including prior discussion and joint planning) in order to benefit from their specialist knowledge and to maximise their effectiveness within lessons
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, although we welcome applications from qualified teachers currently working in mainstream schools, looking to work with the SEN field
  • To contribute towards the implementation of EHCPs as detailed in the current Code of Practice particularly the planning and recording of appropriate actions and outcomes related to set targets
  • Previous experience teaching Secondary would be highly valued for this role 
  • The school would be happy to consider newly qualified teachers
