SEMH Teaching Assistant   

Location: Hackney

Start Date: ASAP

PAY: £80-£90 Per day PAYE

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant are you experienced in working in a PRU or Similar setting?

The SEMH Teaching Assistant role

I am looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a primary setting with children with SEMH needs. The school we are working with believe every child should have the chance to succeed, often the children who attend this school are at risk of Failure, so they aim to provide these children and young adults with the skills they need to be successful. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will feel comfortable and supported in their role and encouraged to reach their full potential.

The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Experienced in working as a SEMH Teaching Assistant in a PRU or similar setting
  • The perfect SEMH Teaching Assistant should have a nurturing and calming personality 
  • The SEMH Teaching Assistant should have a passion and drive to ensure the pupils are able to build on a platform for life-long learning and educational success.
  • The SEMH Teaching Assistant should be a positive role model for all and always be promoting good behaviour.
