Teaching Assistant

SEMH

Long Term Contract

£90 - £95 per day PAYE

 

Parker Smith Inclusion is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant who specialises in supporting students with SEMH. 

The school is based in the London Borough of Croydon and supports up to 50 pupils across two sits for secondary aged students and takes great pride in fostering a warm and supportive atmosphere, ensuring that every students feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

The staff at the school see themselves as more than just teachers; they are a family. A family who takes the time to understand each student individually, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs 

 

If you have:

  • Prior experience supporting behavioural issues, either in a PRU, SEMH schools or through roles Youth worker/mentor or pastoral worker for example 
  • A knack for building relationships and rapport with hard to reach students and the ability to support their physical and emotional challenges
  • Experience with deescalation and helping to regulate students
