SEN Outreach Tutor

PAYE £110 - £156 per day, paid weekly (dependant on qualifications and experience)

I am actively seeking proactive and creative outreach tutors to work with children who have a diagnosis of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) in Southwest London. I am currently looking for tutors who have a passion for wanting to help children with all types of different needs achieve the best they can. This role is ideal for someone willing to go to students’ homes and other schools to help them with any challenges they are facing and help them to overcome, ready for the transition into a school.
Requirements for an SEN Outreach Tutor:
- Experience with domestic violence, gang affiliation, self-harm, trauma, abuse, knife crime, depression, suicide attempts and/or PTSD
- Experience with challenging behaviour and needs such as anxiety, autism, ADHD, trauma, school phobia
- Happy to travel to multiple sites and confident to support children in a variety of settings
- A DBS on the update service (we can help you apply for this if required)
- Be familiar with primary and/or secondary curriculum
- Teaching qualifications and QTS is a bonus!
