About the role of Special Educational Needs Teacher:

As a Special Educational Needs Teacher based in this East London SEND school, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons for small classes of children with profound, multiple and severe learning, health and care needs. Working as a Special Educational Needs Teacher, you will understand that academic development is only possible when you address the primary need first. You will work with the school's multidisciplinary therapy team to ensure the best holistic development possible. These opportunities will suit teachers with a passion and natural ability to engage children with SEND diagnoses. You can create interactive, therapeutic, and meaningful lessons, helping children reach their full potential.

Requirements for Special Educational Needs Teacher:

To work as a Special Educational Needs Teacher, you will ideally hold QTS or QTLS or have relevant experience as a teacher. Solid experience working with vulnerable children is beneficial, but we want to hear from ALL teachers. If you are interested in a teaching approach that is holistic and therapeutic but doesn't necessarily have this experience yet, please still enquire.
