Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant
Kingston Upon Thames, South West London
£450 – £500 per week (PAYE)
Full-time, Term-time only, 8:30am - 4pm
ASAP Start
Have you always been the person people turn to for patience, understanding, or encouragement?
Do you notice the small things others might miss, a change in body language, a flicker of frustration, or a quiet moment that says more than words?
If so, this could be so much more than just your first job after university.
We are working with a truly inspiring specialist school in Kingston upon Thames that supports students aged 4–19 with Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a place where learning goes far beyond the classroom. You will help young people build confidence, independence, and life skills in everyday settings, such as cafes, parks, and supermarkets.
You will also play a vital role in supporting students’ wellbeing, from joining hydrotherapy sessions to providing personal care when needed. It’s hands-on, meaningful work that requires empathy, respect, and a genuine belief that every child deserves dignity and joy in their learning journey.
This role is ideal for Psychology Graduates aspiring to careers in Clinical or Educational Psychology, Teaching, Therapy, or Social Work, or for those who’ve had personal experience supporting someone with additional needs, through family, volunteering, or mentoring.
Why you will love this role:
A warm, therapeutic school where every small achievement is celebrated
Training and guidance from an experienced, compassionate team
Opportunities to explore the community with students and teach real-world skills
Access to specialist facilities, including sensory rooms and hydrotherapy pools
What we are looking for:
A Psychology or related graduate with a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN
Someone who’s caring, patient, resilient, and reflective
Willingness to support with personal care and hydrotherapy sessions as part of a holistic approach to education
A team player who believes in empathy over ego and progress over perfection
If you’re looking for a role where compassion meets purpose and where every day brings small but powerful moments of change, we would love to hear from you.
Apply today or contact Heeji Moon at Parker Smith Inclusion.

Speech and Language Therapist
Mole ValleySurrey£30,000 - £45,000 per annum
Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) – Full-Time, Permanent (term time only)
January 2026
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
For some children, communication is their biggest challenge. They have thoughts, ideas, and emotions to express, but the words don’t always come easily. You can change that as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT).
You know that communication isn’t just about talking. It’s about confidence, connection, and being understood. In this role, you’ll work in a specialist school for students with Autism and SEMH, helping them find their voice in a way that works for them.
A School Built for Progress
This school was designed with its students in mind, ensuring they have the proper support in place to reach their potential. Every detail has been considered to create an environment where both students and staff can succeed.
You’ll have access to:
Brand-new therapy spaces with high-quality resources to support your work
Small class sizes, allowing you to focus on individual student needs
A collaborative team, including teachers, occupational therapists, and pastoral staff
Specialist facilities, including a multi-sports hall, theatre space, and outdoor learning areas
A leadership team that values therapists, ensuring you have everything you need to make a difference
Your Impact as a Speech and Language Therapist:
In this role, you won’t just deliver one-size-fits-all interventions. You’ll work closely with students, staff, and families to create tailored communication strategies for each child’s unique needs.
You might be:
Helping a non-verbal student find confidence with AAC or Makaton
Supporting a young person in developing social communication skills
Advising teachers on strategies to create a communication-friendly classroom
Encouraging self-expression through storytelling, role play, or creative activities
Your work won’t just help students in school. It will set them up with the skills they need for life.
A Team That Supports You:
Therapists are often expected to work in isolation, but not here. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team where teachers, support staff, and therapists work side by side to ensure students receive the best possible care.
If you’re new to working in an education setting, don’t worry—the school provides SEND training and ongoing professional development, helping you adapt your skills to the school environment.
If this opportunity fits your current circumstances and ambition, please contact us to discuss how we can guide and advise you. Whether it is this specific role or other therapist opportunities, we can help you find the next step for your career.
