I am looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist SEND provision for children who have ASD. The children you will support will have a variety of needs which often include ASD, SEMH, ASHD, SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs) and will vary between moderate to severe, this can sometimes include some challenging behaviour born out of a frustration to communicate verbally.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring SEND teachers or and Speech and Language Therapists and those looking to expand their experience in special education in a supportive and friendly team environment.

SEND and SLCN experience is also essential for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, perhaps you are considering a Master’s in speech therapy and looking for practical work experience that is relevant to your career journey, or perhaps you are an experienced SEND TA and want to diversify your experience.
