I am looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a passionate SEN school in London Borough of Southwark.
The SEN school boasts a new state of the art specialist building that enables the students to learn and explore with access to the following:
- A wide circulation space that allows wheelchair users to navigate through the school easily
- A sensory trail to help visually impaired students
- A Hydrotherapy and Music room
- A Physical exploration room
The SEN Teaching Assistant will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team which includes physiotherapists, occupational therapist, speech and language therapists and special school support assistants, who are all working co-cooperatively with the teaching staff to meet the individual needs of the students.

The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience working within a school is essential
- Will have experience supporting a range of SEN students and helping them achieve the most out of their education and development
- Experience working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups is beneficial
- Passion for transforming lives and leaving a lasting impact
- Can adapt to challenges whilst following appropriate protocol
