The role

I am seeking a wonderful, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school based in Barking. This is a fantastic school, with an excellent SEN Provision that supports a group of children with SEN, particularly Autism. This is a big, four form entry school, with a lovely diverse culture that inspires all learners to achieve the best that they can!

The successful Teaching Assistant will be based within the school’s SEN provision. Your daily tasks would include supporting children with Autism in the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to plan and prepare lessons, providing interventions, and behaviour management.

 

The ideal candidate

The successful Teaching Assistant will be someone with a genuine passion for SEN and breaking down barriers to education. You should be resilient, calm and have the ability inspire all learners to achieve their best!

The successful Teaching Assistant should have good experience with Early Years. You should be able to think on your feet, and always be ready for a challenge!
