SEN Teaching Assistant
We here at Parker Smith are working with a fantastic mainstream Primary School. Although this is a mainstream school there is a lot of students with SEN and they are now seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support these students, They have multiple, brilliant SEN rooms and high quality provisions to meet the needs of their students. Lots of the children have ASD including non verbal and they really focus on inclusive learning and believe that all pupils are entitled to an education that enables them to achieve their best, have access to a rich and varied curriculum, become confident individuals living fulfilling lives, and make a successful transition into adulthood. They fully support professional career development and will help you achieve your goals.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will-
- Have experience working with SEN whether that be personal experience or on a professional level
- Be ready to integrate yourself and become part of an incredible team
- Have experience working with visual aids for learning, PECS and Makaton will be extremely beneficial
- Be confident managing challenging behaviour
