I am working with an outstanding Lambeth-based primary school that is looking for a very supportive and competent SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support for a year 5 boy who has an EHCP and struggles with regulating his behaviour.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role will require you to work both inside and outside the classroom with the child for the full academic year with their emotional and learning development. The child you will be supporting requires someone with the following attributes:

  • Emotional resilience with a positive mindset.
  • Team player who can build rapport with children, staff, and parents.
  • Wants to improve own skillset by learning new specialist skills.
  • Determination to improve the child’s social, emotional, and mental health development.

  • Working to ensure all students receive an inclusive education with therapeutic support, based on their individual social, educational and intellectual needs.
