SENCO - Primary School - Tower Hamlets

Parker Smith Inclusion are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) for a thriving primary school in Tower Hamlets. The SENCO will be responsible for ensuring high-quality education for all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Key responsibilities include identifying and supporting children with SEN, developing and implementing strategies to help them reach their full potential, and collaborating with teachers, support staff, parents, outside agencies, and other professionals.

The successful candidate should have a strong track record as a SENCO with experience in working with children with SEN, a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various staff.

The role will start in the summer term, and you will be required to teach 4 days per week. 

The school is fully inclusive of SEN students and aims to identify pupil needs early to provide targeted interventions for academic, emotional, and social success. They are part of a wider trust, offering a network of SEND professionals, and prioritize building strong relationships with parents and carers.
