SEND/SEMH - Permanent Teachers - September 2024 Start - Tower Hamlets

Salary - £28,000 - £35,000 

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm 

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion we're working with an Independant Alternative Provision based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, that are seeking permanent SEND/SEMH Teachers to start in September to teach within a Secondary setting. 

The School

This School is specialised  in working with SEND or SEMH students under the age of 16 whom may not be able to attend mainstream school, the children may come from vulnerable backgrounds and be suffering from mental health, anxiety, learning disabilities, ADHD and other needs. 

The Role

The School are looking for Experienced SEN Teachers that have previously taught multiple secondary subjects and are adaptable to any lesson type. There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to step into Head of Year/Head of Learning or SENCO duties. 

Requirements:

  • Experience with multiple subjects and/or teaching in a Secondary Setting 
  • SEND or SEMH Experience, PRU experience beneficial 
  • QTS or Equivalent 
  • Unqualified Teachers considered but must have a form of Teaching Qualification and/or Teaching Experience 
  • Permanent only considered 
  • Experience with challenging behaviour, youth work
