Job Description:

Parker Smith Inclusion is seeking a full-time, experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide a range of support to SEND students within a mainstream primary school.

This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily work, and support the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and working within a school or child care setting.

Requirements for a SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with SEN is desirable, but anyone with positive energy and willingness to learn and contribute is key!
  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting would be fantastic; however, this is not essential.
  • An ability to provide a calming presence while being engaging.
  • A bubbly and energetic mindset with a good sense of fun.
  • An ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff.

Fantastic training opportunities working alongside teachers and speech therapists for anyone looking to progress into teaching, childcare or psychology.
