Where Creativity Meets Purpose
There’s a place in leafy Wandsworth where creativity and curiosity are nurtured every single day. It’s not your typical school. Here, education is personalised, learning is hands-on, and every young person is celebrated for who they are. We’re a small, specialist setting for neurodivergent pupils aged 9 to 16, and we’re looking for a Design & Technology teacher who sees the world a little differently—someone who believes that education can be transformative when it speaks to a child’s strengths, passions, and potential.
Our pupils are bright, inquisitive, and full of ideas. They often think in 3D, question everything, and have the potential to become brilliant problem-solvers, designers, makers, and engineers. What they need is a teacher who can help unlock that potential—someone who can provide structure while embracing flexibility, scaffold skills while nurturing independence, and see every small step as a major victory.
This is where you come in.
You’ll take the lead on developing and delivering a Design & Technology curriculum that is imaginative, meaningful, and responsive to individual needs. Our facilities are well-resourced, our class sizes are small, and our staff team is experienced and collaborative. You’ll be free to shape learning in a way that works—for you and your pupils. Whether it’s woodworking, electronics, textiles, or product design, we’re open to your vision and value innovation.
But what sets this role apart isn’t just the subject but the setting. In our school, teaching is relational. You’ll get to know every pupil, every spark of interest, every barrier to learning. You’ll work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff to create joined-up support. You’ll be part of a team that listens deeply, reflects often, and celebrates loudly.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a qualified DT teacher with experience (or a keen interest) in working with pupils with SEND
Brings a creative, flexible approach to curriculum design and delivery
Understands that learning isn’t linear—and is patient, calm, and encouraging
Can foster a safe and purposeful environment in a practical classroom
Sees the potential in every child, even on the hardest of days
In return, you’ll find:
A genuine sense of community, where your voice is heard, and your work is valued
Time and space to teach well, reflect often and grow professionally
Ongoing CPD, including training specific to neurodivergent needs and inclusive practice
A calm, spacious site with excellent resources for practical and creative learning
Pupils who will challenge, inspire, surprise and delight you—every single day
This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to be part of something meaningful. To teach in a place where relationships come first, creativity is encouraged, and difference is not just accepted—it’s celebrated.
We'd love to hear your story if you’re ready to teach with purpose, passion and pride. Let’s build something extraordinary together.
SEMH Teaching Assistant - Secondary Phase
Mole ValleySurrey£21,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Teaching Assistant – Secondary Phase
Full-Time, Permanent | Mole Valley, Surrey
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £21,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Be the Person Who Makes School Make Sense
For some young people, school has never been a place of success or safety. They’ve felt overwhelmed, misunderstood, or simply left behind. But everything can change with the right environment and people around them.
That’s where you come in.
A School Where Every Interaction Matters
This new specialist school in the heart of the Surrey countryside has been purposefully designed to support children with autism, ADHD, and associated social, emotional, and mental health needs. Here, learning is personalised, therapeutic, and meaningful—focusing on what each pupil can do, not what they can’t.
Class sizes are small (typically 6–8 pupils), with a skilled SEN Teacher and Teaching Assistant working as a team to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. As a TA, you’ll play a vital role in building trust, developing confidence, and helping young people reconnect with learning—many for the very first time.
What You Can Expect:
A calm, nurturing setting designed for success—for both pupils and staff
A brand-new campus with specialist spaces, including a multi-sports hall, forest school, theatre room, and dedicated therapy suites
A structured, fully integrated therapeutic approach that supports well-being as much as academic progress
Opportunities to work closely with therapists, SEN professionals, and a supportive leadership team
Real, meaningful progress—whether that’s a pupil answering a question for the first time or walking through the school gates with a smile
Who You Are:
You might already have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, or perhaps you’ve worked in youth services, care, or a pastoral role and are looking to take the next step. Most importantly, you’re calm, patient, resilient—and believe every pupil deserves to feel safe and successful at school.
If you’re compassionate, curious, and ready to learn, we’ll provide the training, mentoring, and support you need to make a real impact from day one.
Your Impact Will Last a Lifetime
This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to be part of a team that’s changing lives, one child at a time. Whether it’s helping pupils regulate their emotions, encouraging them to take part in a lesson, or simply being a trusted adult they can rely on, your role as a Teaching Assistant will make a lasting difference.
If this sounds like your kind of school—and your kind of opportunity—we’d love to hear from you. Please apply directly, upload your CV to our website, or call Heeji Moon at Parker Smith Inclusion on 0203 011 4848.

Mathematics Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 | Mole Valley, Surrey
Salary: £24,000 – £48,000 per annum
Some say Maths is just about numbers. You know it’s about much more—logic, problem-solving, building resilience, and learning how to face challenges with clarity and confidence. In this specialist setting, those skills become life-changing tools for young people navigating far more than the curriculum alone.
This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact where it’s needed most.
A Setting Designed for Success
Set within the stunning countryside of Mole Valley, this purpose-built school offers an extraordinary environment for pupils with autism and social, emotional, or mental health needs. Designed with intent and compassion, it provides a calm, structured, and empowering atmosphere for both learners and staff.
You’ll be working in small classes, typically 6–8 pupils, supported by a committed team of SEN Teachers, Learning Support Assistants, and in-house therapists. Here, relationships are built, progress is personal, and education is deeply human.
Key features include:
Excellent staff-to-pupil ratios
Brand new facilities, with high-quality resources in every classroom
A dedicated multi-sports hall, theatre space, and therapy suites
A forest school, outdoor learning areas, and a heated swimming pool
A genuinely therapeutic approach, where education and wellbeing go hand in hand
Teaching Maths with Meaning
As a Maths Teacher, you’ll have the freedom and support to adapt your lessons to each pupil’s unique profile. Whether that’s using real-life problem-solving to engage a pupil with number anxiety or gently rebuilding confidence after missed years of schooling, your teaching will go far beyond textbooks.
You’ll be supported by a leadership team that understands the challenges and triumphs of working in specialist education. Whether you’re experienced in SEND or coming from a mainstream background, you’ll receive comprehensive training and mentoring from day one.
Here, your lessons won’t just teach Maths. They’ll teach self-belief.
Grow with Us
This is a school that doesn’t just invest in pupils—it invests in staff, too. With ongoing CPD, SEND-specific training, and clear career progression routes, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills, deepen your impact, and shape the future of specialist education.

English Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 | Mole Valley, Surrey
Salary: £24,000 – £48,000 per annum
“I’m not good at English.”
Too many pupils believe this before they’ve even had a fair chance. They’ve lost confidence, stopped trying, or been told—directly or indirectly—that their voice doesn’t matter. You know better. You know that every pupil can rediscover their voice with the right support and environment.
And this could be the place to help them do just that.
A School Where Every Pupil Matters
Nestled in the heart of the Surrey countryside, this new and purpose-designed specialist setting offers a fresh start for children with autism and social, emotional, or mental health needs. With class sizes typically between 6 to 8 pupils, supported by dedicated SEN Teachers and Learning Support Assistants, every learner receives the attention they deserve. The setting has been thoughtfully developed to create a calm, nurturing, and inspiring atmosphere for the pupils and the staff who support them. You’ll benefit from:

You’ll have the freedom to design learning that fits the learner—unlocking the joy of reading, building confidence in creative writing, or helping a pupil speak up in front of peers for the first time. Literacy becomes a tool for self-expression and confidence, not just a subject to pass. Whether a pupil is discovering the rhythm of poetry or crafting their first story, you’ll be at the heart of life-changing progress. And if you’re new to SEND? That’s not a barrier here. Comprehensive, ongoing training is provided from day one, ensuring that you feel supported, equipped, and inspired.
A Team That Invests in You
You’ll join a forward-thinking and supportive team that understands that well-supported staff create the best student outcomes. Whether you’re aiming to deepen your expertise, trial innovative approaches, or step into a leadership role in the future, you’ll find meaningful development opportunities here.
