About the role of School Speech and Language Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a big team of multi-disciplinary therapists to drive forward development and rehabilitation programmes.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass Speech and Language Therapy assessments, treatment and management of needs extended to life outside of school. You will assess, implement, and develop treatment programmes according to diagnosis and identified needs.

You will have key supervision and support and will be entitled to a fantastic structure for learning and development whilst working in a variety of schools across the organisation.

Candidate should be/have:

  • A registered Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) or registration in process.
  • Paediatric experience.
  • A passion to work in Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy.
  • An understanding of Speech and Language Therapy process/interventions/assessments.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • Resilience and an ability to manage difficult situations.
