Teaching Assistant - Teacher Training Opportunity
Location: Hayes, Hillingdon - North West London
Salary: £90 - £100 per day paid PAYE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:15pm
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a beautiful primary school in Hillingdon. The school offers Teacher Training and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) training, providing excellent opportunities for career growth and professional development. Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to support children of all abilities
- Work closely with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and address specific learning needs
- Support students with social and emotional development, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring a low level of behavior issues and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with the class teacher to create and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs
- Provide feedback to the class teacher on students' progress and achievements
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred, but not essential.
- A passion for making a difference and supporting children of all abilities
- A warm and inclusive outlook, promoting equality and diversity
- A positive and friendly personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to provide the best possible education for our students
