32.5 hours per week 

Parker Smith are looking for enthusiastic and inspirational candidates to work as Teaching Assistants within the Additionally Resourced Provision.

The school is based within Bromley, Southeast London,

The successful TAs would be based in an Additionally Resourced Provision for children with Severe and Complex Needs across three classes.

ARP TA Responsibility

  • Supervise and provide support for students according to their needs and EHCP requirements, ensuring their safety, well-being and ability to access learning activities.
  • Assist with developing and implementing targets, Personal Learning Plans, Support Plans and Personal Care programmes.
  • Use strategies in liaison with the teacher to support pupils to achieve Personal Learning Plans and EHCP outcomes.
  • Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities.
  • Monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
  • Establish constructive and supportive relationships with parents, carers, pupils, and colleagues.

The ideal Teaching Assistant would have relevant qualifications and experience of working with children with Additional Educational Needs and/or Special Educational Needs would be desirable.
