Therapeutic Support Worker - School Based

Primary or Secondary - All through SEND school - ASAP start - Hillingdon 

Full time £425 - £500 per week PAYE

I am currently working with a brilliant SEND school in Hillingdon for ages 4-16 whose ethos focuses on nurturing to challenge and inspire children to achieve their full potential. They are seeking a Therapeutic Support Worker to support one of their classroom teachers. Working for this school as a Therapeutic Support Worker will be a very rewarding experience.

This Therapeutic Support Worker job would suit a candidate

  • Who would not only deliver a Therapeutic Support Worker requirements but somebody who is kind and patient
  • That will be willing to go the extra mile in the Therapeutic Support Worker role to make sure all students feel important and listened to
  • Who wishes to help build the students confidence to become independent and valued members of society.
  • That feels confident to support the Class teacher with planning and assessing the class and on occasion leading the class if Teacher may be absent.
  • Able to work with smaller groups or individuals. This could be by managing behaviour in class, helping them to develop their communication skills with peers or planning activities in line with class lessons that will be easier for them to understand.
  • That must be flexible as every day is different when working as a Therapeutic Support Worker
