Role: Unqualified SEN TA Teaching Assistant
Location: Hounslow
Salary: £85 - £95 PAYE per day, depending on experience
Working Hours: Full-time (Term Time Only)

I am looking for an Unqualified SEN TA Teaching Assistant to join a passionate school in North West London.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The Responsibilities of an Unqualified SEN TA Teaching Assistant
- Provide personal care to students who need extra support
- To enable access to learning for all pupils and assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom. To undertake learning, care or support programmes for individuals or groups of pupils.
- To support programmes for teaching communication, literacy, and numeracy, as well as to work with pupils on their Individual Education plans, assisting pupils in accessing the full curriculum.
- To help organise personalised classroom activities, prepare resources and maintain the learning environment.
The Ideal Unqualified SEN TA Teaching Assistant
- Experience Supporting students with SLD and PMLD; the majority of students have a diagnosis of Autism/ASC
- A background in Creative arts or a BSc/MSc in Psychology/Forensic Science/Criminology/Social sciences/Education studies
- Have a can - do mindset
